Reassessing your business efforts regularly may help you gain clarity.
Target audiences, offers, zones of genius… A lot of things go into figuring out what you want to do and how to best go about becoming successful (also, there’s no cut-and-dry way of making that happen, but I digress).
An important piece of the puzzle is reassessing, though.
Where you started may very well be a long way from where you find yourself. And that’s all part of the journey. If you reassess at certain intervals, then you’ll be able to shift and move to realign.
For anyone like me, that can be a hard (and sometimes longer) lesson to learn because you’re set, you’re determined, and you KNOW what path you want to take.
Well, my friend, that’s not always how business works. There will be obstacles. There will be setbacks. There will be doubts.
There will also be successes, milestones, wins, and celebrations.

What will make sure you have more of the latter is your ability to assess and reassess along the way to ensure you didn’t zig when you should have zagged.
Attempt: Don’t be afraid to try. That’s the only way you’ll know if something works or not.
Data: Take in the information that each attempt provides. The saying goes that data doesn’t lie, and you can learn a lot from it.
Evaluate: Once you review the numbers, you’ll be able to assess what is and isn’t working with each attempt.
That’s the only ADE you really need on your way.
How often do you reassess your business efforts?
How do you blow off steam during tense or stressful times?
