Here’s the thing.
You’re thrown challenges every day. Every. Single. Day.
That can get exhausting real quick.
- Housework — check.
- Feeding kids — check.
- Taking care of any pets — check.
- Bills — check.
- Errands — check.
- Appointments — check.
- School — check.
- Activities — check.
Sometimes, we just need to say: that ONE thing — check.

However it looks for you, whatever brings you that little slice of happiness, DO IT.
Take a moment as often as you are able (but don’t use it as an excuse to procrastinate, either!) and indulge.
I read 2.5 books this weekend and watched almost an entire season of Outlander while playing with my littles. SO wonderful.
