Kids consume so much of you, but you’re more than “just” a mom – your identity matters!
While I will emphasize that there is nothing wrong with being a mom in any capacity – stay-at-home mom, work-from-home mom, work-out-of-the-home mom, single mom, etc.
What I mean by more than “just” a mom is re-discovering your identity beyond being someone’s mother.
I have people in my phone who literally are “first name – so and so’s mom.” I feel like I am probably that person in other people’s phones.
But I am also a business owner, a wife, and a 35-year-old woman.

I have been through a lot (haven’t we all?!?) and embraced some challenges, overcome some obstacles, and each moment has contributed to making me the person (and mother) that I am today.
My identity does not start or stop at being a mom, although that is a piece of it.
Becoming a mom usually enhances us in some ways and brings on new challenges for us to learn from.
How has your identity shifted since motherhood, and how are you embracing it?!
