This week reminded me of something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately.
It’s so easy to keep chasing the next milestone.
The next client. The next launch. The next project. The next goal.And while there’s absolutely nothing wrong with ambition…
I don’t want to accidentally miss the life I’m building while I’m busy building it.
This week held a little bit of everything.
New clients. Projects moving forward. Helping friends. Dreaming up new spaces in our home. Watching my girls proudly dye my hair. Planning for future preschool music classes. Family laughter in the paint aisle. Pizza, popcorn, and movie night.None of those moments, on their own, seem extraordinary.
Together?
They make up a beautiful life.
One built intentionally.
One where work supports the memories instead of replacing them.
That’s the business I hope every mom builds.
Not one that demands every ounce of her…
But one that gives something back.
