As you navigate business ownership and motherhood, you’re bound to have growing pains (how to deal!).
Growth can be painful because it stretches us and often makes us acknowledge and work on our own shortcomings.
Yet, we can ease the pain a bit by anticipating a few of these ahead of time.
When it comes to a business or goals, consistency = money earned.
When I get overwhelmed or exhausted, the LAST thing I want to do is be on social media working my business. I’d rather be sitting, snuggled on the sofa with my kids, watching a movie, or enjoying a glass of wine.
Do you find yourself overwhelmed? Do that ONE thing that will make the biggest difference.
Here’s the thing.
You’re thrown challenges every day. Every. Single. Day.
When you’re overwhelmed, taking a break before a breakdown happens is vital.
As mothers, we often put others’ needs before our own. And then, we push and push and push ourselves to the breaking point.
The other day, I was feeling like a pretty bad mom.
From the minute we woke up, it was go-time for taking the tiny one to the sitter’s, doing school, running errands, going to our appointments, then following up with working until 2:30 am to get my client work completed as promised.
Blowing off steam before you overheat or explode is vital.
In business and in life, it’s important to release that tension before it becomes a bigger issue or it seeps out in unintentional ways.
