Want to know the 2 biggest lessons I learned working with 100+ clients?
First, I have to call myself out for the tendency to undershoot to avoid lying. 😂😂 When I say over 100 clients, it’s likely been more. But I don’t like making a claim that I’m not certain is something I can back up and support.
From working with so many amazing small businesses and entrepreneurs, you could say I learned a thing or two. Let me share two of the biggest lessons I learned through the journey:
Sing it with me! — Breaking up is hard to do (with clients).
Just like a dream client, a client relationship that needs to be terminated is like this: When you know, you know.
One thing they don’t often teach you when you are growing up is having tough conversations.
When you need to have a difficult talk with someone – a family member, client, significant other, or child (especially a child), it can be a very sensitive situation.
In business (and life), it’s important to be authentic, make connections, and build a foundation for yourself on values.
When you show your true colors and connect with others in a very real way, you draw in those who become invested in YOU and, therefore, what you have to offer.
Do you know what it means to be unapologetically you, mama?
As caretakers and always having to think of someone else’s needs, we tend to dampen ourselves for the sake of others.
Stop doubting your worth and drowning yourself out. Highlight your strengths and see what happens!
YOU are your greatest strength.
