
Responsibility and Resilience in Your Kiddos
When you are teaching and guiding, are responsibility and resilience in your kiddos important qualities??
The great thing is these are important in business as well.
The great thing is these are important in business as well.
Business, side hustle, and working your way up through the ranks… just as important as taking your little to their sports or activities or teaching them to walk or read (you get the drift).
Deadlines will be there. Dishes will undoubtedly continue to be used. Laundry will never be done (think about that one).
Yet, it’s like a weight baring down on us with each “chore” or “appointment” or “task” that isn’t complete.
While I will emphasize that there is nothing wrong with being a mom in any capacity – stay-at-home mom, work-from-home mom, work-out-of-the-home mom, single mom, etc.
What I mean by more than “just” a mom is re-discovering your identity beyond being someone’s mother.
From the minute we woke up, it was go-time for taking the tiny one to the sitter’s, doing school, running errands, going to our appointments, then following up with working until 2:30 am to get my client work completed as promised.
In business and in life, it’s important to release that tension before it becomes a bigger issue or it seeps out in unintentional ways.
