The Moments When Things Do Go Smoothly

The Moments When Things Do Go Smoothly

Let’s talk about the moments when things do go smoothly.

When you:
✔ Follow through on what you planned
✔ Feel clear on your next steps
✔ See progress in your business
✔ End the day feeling… good
Those moments?
They’re not random.
They’re a result of:
→ Clarity
→ Structure
→ Support
Which is exactly what we build inside my 1:1 mentorship.
So instead of occasional “good days”…
You start to experience:
→ More consistency
→ More momentum
→ More confidence in what you’re doing
And success stops feeling like a surprise…
And starts feeling repeatable.
That’s the shift.
Not perfection.
Not hustle.
But sustainable, supported progress.
And yes—you can absolutely build your business that way.

To help you navigate business growth YOUR WAY, the Your Steady Ground Masterclass leads you with videos and workbooks.

Spring Break Was Exactly What I Was Hoping It Would Be

Spring Break Was Exactly What I Was Hoping It Would Be

Spring Break was exactly what I was hoping it would be.
A mix of rest, fun, connection… and getting our ducks back in a slightly better row. 😄
There was still life happening, of course:
• Talking with potential new clients
• Exploring new project opportunities
• Submitting learning goals for the kids
• Keeping up with current client work
• Cleaning, organizing, all the usual things
But layered into all of that?
• We slept in a couple of days.
• Had sleepovers—both here and at friends’ houses.
• Played impromptu Scrabble (and a few other board games by request).
• Had cuddles just because.
• Spent time swimming with friends.
• Hit the park because it’s been wildly warm for winter.
• Celebrated my mom’s birthday.
• Got to see my sister and brother-in-law.
It wasn’t perfectly planned.
It wasn’t overly structured.
But it was full in the best way.
The kind of full that doesn’t feel overwhelming… It feels aligned.
And sitting here now, I just feel incredibly grateful.
💜 Grateful for the rhythm we’ve created.
💜 Grateful for the flexibility.
💜 Grateful for the space to work, rest, connect, and enjoy it all.
Because this is the goal.
Not perfection.
Not balance in the traditional sense.
But a rhythm that allows life and business to exist together in a way that actually feels good.
And that’s something I don’t take for granted.

How Mompreneurs Can Adjust for Different Life Seasons

How Mompreneurs Can Adjust for Different Life Seasons

One of the most powerful shifts a mom entrepreneur can make is this: Stop expecting yourself to operate the same way in every season.

Your capacity changes.
• When kids are sick.
• During school breaks.
• When your business is growing.
• When life demands more of you.
But so many high-achieving women keep trying to force the same routines, expectations, and pace.
That’s where burnout starts.
Real sustainability comes from learning how to adjust your structure to match your season.
Not abandoning your goals — just approaching them with strategy instead of pressure.
This is something we explore deeply inside my Capacity Clarity Calls.
Because when your business strategy aligns with your life season, everything feels more doable.
If you’re navigating a season that feels heavier than usual, it might be time for a strategic reset.
You can reach out or fill out the discovery form to schedule a call.

To help you navigate business growth YOUR WAY, the Your Steady Ground Masterclass leads you with videos and workbooks.

I Know What It Feels Like To Go-Go-Go

I Know What It Feels Like To Go-Go-Go

I know what it feels like to go-go-go.

At one point in college, I was working six jobs while carrying 36 credit hours.
I could push.
I could perform.
I could outwork almost anyone.
But when I started having kids, something shifted. Not just my energy — my desire.
I still love full days.
I love productivity.
I love momentum.
But I also deeply love days where I can sit and read for hours.
Work on a puzzle.
Play board games with the kids.
Watch movies.
Let my brain breathe.
And here’s what I’ve learned:
When I push nonstop, my work suffers.
When I rest intentionally, my work sharpens.
Those slower days aren’t laziness.
They’re neurological resets.
They allow my brain to recharge.
They restore creativity.
They make my decisions clearer.
Rest doesn’t steal momentum. It fuels it.
Now, instead of waiting until I’m exhausted to rest, I build it into most days — even if it’s small.
Because the version of me who pauses?
She produces better work than the version who forces it.
Momentum built on depletion doesn’t last.
Momentum built on restoration does.
