One thing they don’t often teach you when you are growing up is having tough conversations.
When you need to have a difficult talk with someone – a family member, client, significant other, or child (especially a child), it can be a very sensitive situation.
When you reach for the stars, you’re likely to land among them. But when you reach for a specific star and create small, achievable goals to attain it, you’ll get much, much closer.
Your path may change, the star you’re aiming for may shift. The important part is that you’ll have an extremely clear path as opposed to a faint, blurry line to follow that may fizzle out.
When it comes to a business or goals, consistency = money earned.
When I get overwhelmed or exhausted, the LAST thing I want to do is be on social media working my business. I’d rather be sitting, snuggled on the sofa with my kids, watching a movie, or enjoying a glass of wine.
Do you find yourself overwhelmed? Do that ONE thing that will make the biggest difference.
Here’s the thing.
You’re thrown challenges every day. Every. Single. Day.
In business (and life), it’s important to be authentic, make connections, and build a foundation for yourself on values.
When you show your true colors and connect with others in a very real way, you draw in those who become invested in YOU and, therefore, what you have to offer.
Do you know what it means to be unapologetically you, mama?
As caretakers and always having to think of someone else’s needs, we tend to dampen ourselves for the sake of others.
