This week, I got to facilitate the Society members setting realistic goals for the next month.
It’s nice to be able to sit and listen to what others are dreaming about so I can guide them closer to what they want to achieve.
Many times, I hear, “Sometimes I think, ‘How does Jessie do it all?'” The short answer is I just do—usually with a smile on my face.
A more general answer is obviously I don’t do it alone.
After a little thought and consideration of how I:
• run a membership (with quarterly reflections, monthly goal setting and assessing, pop-up trainings, and more)
• offer a mentorship program
• provide quarterly masterclasses
• do a monthly shootin’ the shit
• send many emails
• complete client work
• homeschool 3 kiddos
• act as the primary caregiver for the kids and pets
• coordinate play dates/sleepovers
• shuffle everyone to activities and appointments
As we know, the list likely goes on… all while still taking time off on weekends, vacations, or time away.
I am able to do all those things by learning how to shift my expectations, regulate myself better, place and hold boundaries, and learn when to let go.
My two planners, programs, and Google Calendar certainly make my life a little easier to juggle, too.
That all seems pretty simple, right? Simple, but not always easy.
Having done it for a decade means I’ve honed those skills (and continue to work on them)… and I get to share them with you when you’re in one of my containers.
Do you need some support in “doing it all?”
