The other day, I was feeling like a pretty bad mom.
From the minute we woke up, it was go-time for taking the tiny one to the sitter’s, doing school, running errands, going to our appointments, then following up with working until 2:30 am to get my client work completed as promised.
The next day wasn’t much different except I was able to finish my day by 11… and you know what happened at about 10?? My tiny one gave me a BIG squeeze and said, “You’re the best mommy ever!”
Even when we are feeling spread thin, checking off our list, and going through the motions, we may not recognize some of the pieces that leave impressions on our littles’ hearts.
Obviously, I did ENOUGH to make them feel loved, important, and whatever else I was doubting those days.

No matter how busy I am, I start and end my day by giving them hugs, love, attention, and kisses. And it seeped through back to me when I most needed it.
